1930 Cardinals Committee

1930 Cardinals Committee

In 1930, the St. Louis Cardinals won the National League pennant and faced the defending American League Champion Philadelphia Athletics in the World Series. The Athletics won the World Series in five games. Some baseball historians think the 1930 Philadelphia Athletics were superior to the 1927 New York Yankees. The identity of the “Committee” on this ribbon is unknown.
